Small Business Love

I love supporting small businesses and it's not just about making a purchase (although that's very helpful haha) but it's about showing your support in other ways too!

Now social media is a tricky one! If you don't have enough interaction going on with your business page, your posts, your groups etc, they love to hide everything you do, therefore making it very difficult for your followers, clients and potential clients to notice all the hard work you do and put into you business! I'm still trying to balance my home and work life as well which I find very hard so I appreciate every single thing that you do! Some of these things can include -

• A follow on all social media platforms
• A like or reaction on posts goes a long way!
• A comment would be amazing!
• Even a save on instagram is meant to be really good!
• And of course like people say, sharing is caring :)

All of these actions mean the world and not only to myself but every single small business out there rely on this kind of support to keep going! Other ways to show your support that are greatly appreciated include -

• Facebook reviews and recommendations
• Google reviews
• Referrals to your friends and family
• Tagging my business in your posts , stories and photos!

I notice every bit of support I receive and it is never taken for granted! So saying all of this, I thought I'd share a few of the small businesses that I love! Please don't be offended if you're not featured! It doesn't mean I don't love you because I do haha!

I found this amazing business about 3 years ago when my little boy Oscar was around 18 months old and our first ever purchase from them was a Valentines tee saying 'MUMMY IS MY LOBSTER' (a quote inspired by the popular TV series 'Friends'). Everything from the ordering process to receiving the item was fab! The customer service, the quality and even the packaging was fantastic and still is today! Oscar started repping for them shortly after we found them and so they have always had a place in my heart! The lady who owns it is the most loveliest person, a full time mum, like me (but with 2 children!) who is working her hardest to do something she loves as well as providing for her family so I know how much everything means to her! Not only do I buy Oscar's t-shirts from TYAC Tees, but I also buy my personalised uniform from them as well as some other items including the cute newborn vests that I give out as a keepsake when having a newborn photoshoot with me! If you're in need of some me time, Beauty By Sienna offer a range of luxurious treatments that will leave you feeling wonderful. Sienna does incredible eyelashes, the most beautiful nails and the most relaxing massages. She is on maternity leave at the moment after having a beautiful baby boy but she has a wonderful gallery showing off her work on her social media pages which you'll find below. She also does pregnancy massages as well which I had when I was around 36 weeks pregnant with Oscar and it was just so relaxing! I was really worried about getting my bump out with my stretch marks all over it but she instantly put me at ease and my nerves soon disappeared! I definitely recommend having an afternoon of pampering with her when she reopens!

Let's Sew It is a fantastic local business that offers sewing and crafting workshops and also fabric and patterns to purchase so you can have a project to do in your own time as well! I rarely have time anymore to do any sewing and crafting but I'm hoping to change that this year as its something I really love! One of the things Let's Sew It offer is a regular crafting get together that happens in their local village hall and it's a day where you can bring your own project, meet new people and make new friends that share the same interests as you, not forgetting the tea, coffee and biscuits that's included! If you haven't been to Sugar Shamrocks yet then you are missing out! They are a local small business and they supply the cakes for my cake smash photoshoots! They have never failed me with their service. I give them a theme or idea and they make it happen! It is a horrible feeling knowing that their beautiful work is going to get smashed up but cake smashes are such a memorable experience and there is always cake left to take home with you haha! Sugar Shamrocks also sell the most delicious cupcakes which they make fresh on the day of purchase in their shop and I always have to buy a box when I'm passing by or picking a cake up! So there you have it! Just a few of the many small businesses that I love as well as some helpful tips on how you can help small businesses grow! And I know I say this a lot but I am so thankful for all of the support I receive every single day! You are all amazing!
