In very basic terms I totally respect your personal information and will only ask you for what information I really need from you. I look after it in the same way I would want mine looking after, keeping it secure! I will only share it with others where I need their help to help me deliver my service to you (such as our professional printing laboratory who may need your name and address to post your purchases). Be assured that I will never share your information in any other circumstances – nor will I sell it on elsewhere.

Daisy Jessica Photography takes your privacy very seriously. This privacy policy has been prepared in line with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which promotes fairness and transparency for all individuals in respect of their personal data. This privacy policy applies to all data I process, and by using Daisy Jessica Photography you consent to my collection and use of such data.
The Data I collect
As a data controller I collect a variety of data in order to deliver my services, and I will manage your personal data transparently, fairly and securely.
Your details I may ask you to provide me the following data –
Full names / Address / Postcode/ Telephone Number(s) / Email / IP Address etc and any other information that you decide to provide to me.
I will also record a date of birth for all persons I photograph under the age of 13 and require the parent or a legal guardian to consent to photography.
Identification Obviously being a photographic business I also create and manage images as per our contractual agreement(s). Images (photographs) may identify you and family members and this can be regarded as personal data. These photographs may be produced in print format or in digital format. It is your responsibility to provide all family members and other persons involved in the images with a copy of this policy.
Use I use the above data to deliver my service to you / For marketing purposes / Personalise your experience / To provide account access etc and for any other purpose that you have asked as part of our contract. With your agreement, I may use images/photographs from our contract for advertising and marketing purposes, including in print, presentations, promotional material such as leaflets, brochures etc, on may website and on social media such as Facebook and Instagram.
Future contact I may also inform you of promotions that I am hosting, goods, services and events and I will only contact you if you have already provided me with consent at the initial stage of providing your details to me.

They are designed to enable the website to remember information, such as what a user might have put in a shopping cart for example. This helps me personalise your experience, deliver my service to you, for Marketing Purposes. Which third parties do I share Personal Data with?
Service Providers - People or services who act on my behalf, such as card processing or payment services , website providers, IT suppliers and contractors (e.g. data hosting providers), and providers of specialist services, including printers, framers and bookbinders, editing services etc.
Enforcement Agencies - There are also certain situations in which I may be required to share access to your personal data without your explicit consent; for example, if required by law, to protect the life of an individual, or to comply with any valid legal process, government request, rule or regulation.
Financial services - Any credit/debit card payments and other payments you make will be processed by my third party payment providers and services and the data you submit will be securely stored and encrypted by these parties under legal standards. Please note that I do not directly process or store the debit/credit card data that you submit.

How do I keep your personal data secure?
I keep your data secure by following internal policies of best practice and training for staff, Encryption, By using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology when information is submitted to me online. In the unlikely event of a criminal breach of my security I will inform the relevant regulatory body within 72 hours and, if your personal data were involved in the breach, I will also inform you.

I may change this privacy policy from time to time. When I do, we will let you know by changing the date on this policy, notifying customers of only significant changes. Duration I do not hold personal data any longer than I need to. The duration will depend on your relationship with me, whether it is ongoing, and whether I am required by any legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting requirements, In particular,I will keep your personal data and digital files for 1 year after your photography session. You could extend this if you intend to archive images indefinitely. After this time I will archive your photographs indefinitely along with your relevant details and consent forms. This is due to requests for replacement images being made several years after being taken. If you consent to receive marketing communications, I will keep your data until you withdraw consent. Where the retention period ends, I will securely destroy your personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
